Live: Spread Radio Live-NotForNothing.net

[05/14/06]

[Length]: approx 45 min.

[Notes]:
This was a quick show before Dave left to go to the rehearsal studio with The Panic Channel. He played "Teahouse Of The Spirits," and "Outsider" by TPC.

Dave mentioned he was hoping to do SRL's from the tour bus along with the webcam so that fans could watch Chris "eat a vegan meal."

[05/19/06]

[Length]: approx 75 min.

[Notes]:
Dave was broadcasting early from his hotel room in Dallas, TX. He did very little talking as he was getting ready for the day, but mentioned his schedule for the day which included several radio interviews, followed up by another interview at the venue before the show.

[05/27/06]

[Phone Calls]: Larissa
[Length]: approx 70 min.

[Notes]:
This was an early broadcast from his room at the Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ. He told about how at the previous show the security guard took his cigarette right out of his hand and told him he couldn't smoke, and that he made a scene because of it.

When talking to Larissa, he read a bad review about TPC where they pretty much singled him out. He also told about how he walked out of an interview for SIRIUS radio because the guy didn't have any clue what he was talking about, much less who he was talking to from "The Panic Station."

[05/29/06]

[Phone Calls]: Larissa, Raiana
[Length]: approx 2 hours.

[Notes]:
Dave was broadcasting from his hotel room in Chicago.

When he called Larissa, she addressed him as David Michael Navarro, to which he said to never call him that because "my mother called me David, and look what happened to her." He was also asking her about her Quincinera, as well as what she did for Memorial Day.

At one point he asked Riss about the status of the first Spread Radio Live show, and he threw out some outrageous ideas for the flyers trying to shock Riss. He followed up by asking what the most shocking thing was that she could remember, and if, legally speaking, she could file charges against him for sexual harassment. She brought up a time where she was talking to Carmen and he put his balls on her head, and he added that he had to wipe up the chair because she got so wet from him doing that.

He had roomservice come up twice, plus another hotel worker who was checking something in the room. He also had to call housekeeping to come and clean up a glass he broke in his room. He also asked for another "Do Not Disturb" sign that apparently someone took.

[05/30/06]

[Phone Calls]: Larissa
[Length]: approx 2 hours.

[Notes]:
Broadcast from his hotel room in Chicago. He mentioned he had to get up early to do an interview with Kerrang magazine, so he was broadcasting since he couldn't go back to sleep.

Someone asked Dave for his thoughts on the potential plagiarism of The Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Dani California" and Tom Petty's "Mary Jane's Last Dance." All he could say was, from his experience, that would be the last thing he would think of them.

[06/03/06]

[Phone Calls]: Raiana
[Length]: approx 100 minutes.

[Notes]:
Broadcast from his hotel room in Denver, CO.

At one point he was disconnected since the hotel offers the internet for 24 hours, and he was guessing 24 hours rolled around in the middle of the show.

Dave played part of a phone interview he did with Guitar World. The questions asked in the segment played were mostly about the relation between Dave and Steve as far as how they met, and what it was like when they started jamming together.

[06/05/06]

[Phone Call(s)]: Larissa
[Length]: approx 75 min.

[Notes]:
Broadcast from his hotel room in San Francisco.

He premiered "Awake" and "Said You'd Be" from The Panic Channel's upcoming album, (ONe).

Steve stopped by for a moment, but didn't speak much because he was resting his voice.

To pass some time, Dave was reading through his emails on myspace, and one person sent him a negative message. As before, Dave shared his contact info on myspace, and AIM screenname for people to flame him.

[06/08/06]

[Phone Calls]: Raiana
[Length]: approx 100 minutes.

[Notes]:
This was the first show back with co-host Gregg Simon.

Gregg asked what was one of the worst parts from the tour, and Dave talked about stepping out of an interview at SIRIUS radio because the DJ, who was interviewing them via phone, was going off on a tangent asking about Carmen and some other things that wasn't relevant to The Panic Channel. He also mentioned that at his birthday party, after the final show, he was approached by someone from In Style, and he blew him off because he was trying to celebrate his birthday.

When talking to Raiana, she mentioned when she got to LA that she really wanted to go shopping. Dave asked her if she ever noticed that every time she brings up shopping, that Dave just completely avoids the subject as he doesn't like to go shopping.

[06/13/06]

[Length]: approx 2 hours.

[Notes]:
Dave was having a debate with Steve about Firefox vs. Safari, which he said was "so gay of us."

He answered a lot of questions via IM, including questions about The Panic Channel, RockStar, and the Carmen Electronica Hour.

[06/14/06]

[Phone Calls]: Raiana
[Phone Ins]: Steve
[Length]: approx 2 hours.

[Notes]:
When talking to Raiana on the phone, they got to talking about airports. Dave shared he was strip-searched in Vancouver once, and to joke with the officer he said he "You better make sure, because I remember I had some coke in there last week. It may have sunk back into the back, so make sure you get that out, will ya?" He added that if he was an airport security guard, and Raiana came up, he would give her a full cavity search.

Steve Isaacs called Dave in the middle of the show, and wanted to ask about sleeping pills, and actually asked for Carmen's advice. So Dave called her into the room, and she recommended Unisom or Ambien.
