Then he explained this weeks clinic, which was another on song writing. Their task was to individually take the song Gilby played for them, and write the lyrics and melody to it by the next day. When working on their songs, Lukas had an idea right away and spent about 15 minutes on it and was done. Ryan actually took the longest, trying to finish up early in the morning but was held up by Lukas wanting to do his own thing. The next day they performed their song. Jason liked Ryan's style and take on the track, and wanted to hear him on other Supernova tracks. Tommy thought Dilana's lyrics were cheesy, and also thought that Lukas "killed it." During song selection this week, there was another chance for someone to perform with Gilby this week, which Dilana got without any diliberation.
