[08/21/05 - Episode 19] Dave stopped by the mansion to give the rockers this weeks challenge. They were told that they had to write their own song to perform at the next show. Many were excited, though Deanna and Jordis seemed to be stressing out about it. JD and Suzie were picked at random to join INXS at a radio show performance. Suzie stumbled across this weeks song choices. There were 5 covers, and room for 2 originals. Just about everyone wanted to do their original, so they drew names out of a hat giving the spots to Mig and Deanna. Though it was Suzie's idea to draw from a hat, she was upset and begged them to swap with her so she could perform her original, but was denied. Deanna met with Paul and Jim to teach them her song, "My Truth." Paul felt it was a blues song, which was a "safe" choice for her. Ty later came in, since he co-wrote it with her, and basically took over. When Mig met with the guys to teach them his song, "Do Or Die," Paul thought that it was a bit happy and incohesive from start to finish, which wasn't quite the first impression Mig had hoped for. [08/23/05 - Episode 20] Opening up, Dave spoke to the group about how they decided who would perform their original songs. After JD's performance, Tim made the comment of how he's doing the best in this auditioning process, and that didn't sit too well with the other contestants. Suzie - The Rolling Stones, "Start Me Up" JD - Foreigner, "Cold As Ice" Deanna - Deanna Johnston/Ty Talor, "My Truth" Ty - Creedence Clearwater Revival, "Proud Mary" [w/guest vocals by Jordis, Deanna, & Suzie] Mig - Mig Ayesa, "Do Or Die" Marty - Live, "I Alone" Jordis - Aerosmith, "Dream On" Initial bottom 3: Deanna, Ty, Jordis [08/24/05 - Episode 21] The show started out with showing clips of last nights show. Then Brooke asked the rockers who felt they deserved the encore this week. Everyone gave their reasons, however Mig didn't feel he deserved it and stated he thought it could've been better and that other performances were more deserving. It was Suzie who ultimately got this weeks encore. Some of the rockers weren't thrilled with INXS' comments, especially Deanna. She was upset about how they always say she's in her comfort zone. They responded by saying they say things like that to push everybody a little bit further to see what their true potential is. When they got down to business of the bottom three, Brooke revelaed that at some point during voting, everyone except for Suzie, the self-proclaimed "Queen of the Bottom 3," was in the bottom three. The final results are below. Ty - "What You Need" Deanna - "Elegantly Wasted" Marty - "Don't Change" After their performances, they were asked how it felt to perform an INXS song. All gave their answers, and it was Deanna who was eliminated this week. When the credits were rolling, Suzie was shown extremely happy to have been the only one not in the bottom 3, whereas Jordis felt it should've been her up there.
