DN: Thanks Jay.
JL: And happy birthday!
DN: Thank you.
JL: So what did you get for your birthday? I heard you got something cool.
DN: I turned 23 this year.
JL: 23.
DN: 34. And I got a Grand National.
JL: A Buick Grand National. What year?
DN: 1987.
JL: Oh, an '87, that's a very cool car.
DN: It has to be.
JL: Now
DN: Pardon me, I'm a little out of breath.
JL: Who gives you a car?
DN: My girlfriend gave me that car.
JL: You must be really good at something.
DN: Manipulation perhaps?
JL: Manipulation.
DN: No.

JL: Tickets, do you have speeding tickets?
DN: I've got plenty of those.
JL: Now how many is plenty?
DN: I've lost my license maybe two or three times.
JL: Really?
DN: Motorcycle stuff, a lot of motorcycle stuff.
JL: Oh, you've got bikes?
DN: CBR 600.
JL: Oh, we should go riding sometime.
DN: Let's go right now.
JL: Let's get some grunge match stuff going. So what, you're touring with Jane's Addiction this fall?
DN: I've got Jane's Addiction [ crowd applauses ] thank you. I've got that July to August, and then I'm taking this out after that.

JL: Very cool. And again, congratulations on the reviews.
DN: Thank you. May I have some of this?
JL: Yeah, well you've got your own right there.
DN: It's personalized for me.
JL: Mine's just got the regular water. [ looking at the tattoos ] Now what is the significance of these?
DN: Ya know, I was 17, I thought it was cool.
JL: Well it still looks cool on you.
DN: They all have their own equally boring stories.
JL: Yeah. Ya know whats good? When you see guys that are really old, and the tattoo itself gets a popbelly. You ever seen that happen?
DN: I have.
JL: But anyway, congratulations.
DN: Thank you.
