Live: Camp Freddy-NotForNothing.net

[12/10/05]

[In Studio]: Matt, Billy
[Phone-Ins]: Ashley [Matt's former manager's daughter]
[Phone Calls]: Erica

[Absentees]: Dave was at the Band Together Festival, and Donovan was absent for an unknown reason.

Matt started off by talking about last Sundays Camp Freddy show in Las Vegas. Additionally, he spoke about the surprise Velvet Revolver show at Body English on Tuesday. He said during soundcheck, Duff, Slash, and Dave double stacked their amps and it was extremely loud for this small venue.

Billy was late as he had a death in the family, so he ran home to his wife's side. He arrived a little before 6:30.

Billy called his new friend Erica, who he met while doing pilates, and she had met a guy through craigslist, and Billy wanted to follow up on the latest info, much like Dave did with his cousin Johnny weeks ago. After ending the conversation, they were browsing the site and Billy read an ad from a black male, looking for girls to be in a "all black male gangbang."

They spoke of their Christmas plans. Matt said he had a mechanical reindeer in his yard, and this reminded Billy of the time he was invited to the Osbourne's house, and in the back yard they had a real, live reindeer with fake snow.

Two people whom were considered guests for today's show were Paris Hilton and Charlie Sheen, but Charlie never called Matt back and Matt wasn't sure if the listeners would like it if Paris was on.

[Girls From The Weekly]:

After a request for it, the guys gave this segment a shot. Their first attempt was Holly, who hung up immediately. Next, Kayla, who would not talk to them on air. Maleah also hung up immediately. Finally, Tiffany also immediately hung up on them.

[Questions]:
For a pair of tickets to go to the Indie party 12/16:
"The original guitar player from the original Nine Inch Nails line up, what was his name?" [asked by Matt, answer: Richard Patrick]

For a stack of CDs:
"If you can mention, to me on the air, either of the two mens names of the group Sparks." [asked by Billy, answer: Ron & Russel Mael]

"The artist that did all the covers for Yes, his name was what?" [asked by Matt, answer: Roger Dean]

[Quotes]:

"I'm going down to see my 93, she's going to be 93 the day after Christmas." [Matt]
"Oh, fantastic." [Billy]
"And she's gonna cook, she's like all deadset on cooking the turkey. She can't see, ya know, I mean she's completely blind, can barely walk, but she's gonna cook a turkey so we're going." [Matt]
"From the Sorum's that I've met, she's going to be going for a few years yet." [Billy]

"Now we're getting somewhere. Matt has twelve year old girls calling him up to say hi. It is so cute!" [Billy, after getting off the phone with Ashley]
"Well ya know, I was nice to her and her mom brought her to a show and I think I gave her a pair of drumsticks." [Matt]
"But that always happens after we mention certain things here. We let it go into the toilet humor, and then kids ring up. I'm sorry." [Billy]
"We have to remember, yeah, when we're talking kind've filthy and stuff. And like young children are listening." [Matt, laughs]
"Now I feel really bad. Let's play a track." [Billy]

"Exactly, we scratch each others backs. Matt, I've made a donation in your name to a charity of my choice, my bank!" [Billy, laughs]

"So, what've you got Matt? I'm dying here." [Billy]
"I have nothing. I just showed up because I knew you'd be here all prepared." [Matt, they both laugh]
