[Girls From The Weekly]:
The only call was to Summer who wasn't completely sure if they were playing with her or not, but she continued talking to them. They were looking for the usual "dates gone bad" stories, but she avoided the question. Her ad stated she like to cuddle, so the guys had quite a bit of fun with that including asking how much it'd cost to cuddle with her on air. She was one to "farm out" the calls to other girls, but unlike most of the other ads in the Weekly, she said she uses her real picture. For being such a sport, they gave her tickets to see The Donnas.
[Questions]:
For tickets to the Indie 103.1 Office Party:
"Tell me the name of anyone in the UK version of Wasted Youth." [asked by Billy, answer: Mick Atkins]
[Quotes]:
"Billy is like my girlfriend away from my wife." [Dave]
"Absolutely. It's the English way. Got a problm, run." [Billy, when talking to a caller asking about English men]
"I've find that Woody Alan's films are like orgasms. Even his worst one is right on the money. You know what's really clever about that, is that I tied in an actual Woody Alan line that's from 'Manhattan.'" [Dave]
"You know what I like about you guys? Your arrangements, one verse, one chorus, that's how all pop music should be." [Billy, to Camp Teddy]
"It really should." [Dave]
"We've all got it. Ya know what I mean, we have to stand up there and do the other six minutes of the song." [Billy]
"It's torture." [Dave]
"But we've heard the chorus and that's it. Maybe we should do an album that's just that." [Billy]
"But we've just not been having much luck lately." [Billy, in regard to Girls From The Weekly]
"We get shut down dude. I don't understand. We've lost our mojo or our magic." [Dave]
"But I got home feeling rejected. It's rejection." [Billy]
"Me too. We always do this towards the end of the show, TK, and it's just not a really good, positive way to send us home to our wives. When I go home after this segment, and my wife can tell by the look on my face and she says, 'Aw, did the hookers hang up on you again? Come here baby.'" [Dave]
"Go turn on your radio honey, you can hear us right now." [Dave, during Girls From The Weekly]
"Um, my radio is pretty crappy right now so that's why." [Summer]
"That's all right, so is this show." [Billy, everybody laughs]
"It's hand in hand." [Dave]
"Maybe we should do Festivast this year." [Billy]
"You have received a donation in your name to the Human Fund." [Dave, Billy cracks up]
