The guys broadcast from the Key Club where Dave's band The Panic Channel and Billy's band Doheny were to perform at the special Indie 103.1 show with The Tints. Donovan was the host for the evening.
The basis of the show, which was conceived of by Billy, was that it would cost $1.03 with a can of food for the homeless. Dave asked some to bring a can opener as well, and compared it to watching a porno with another guy and not being able to whip it out and "service yourself."
When they asked Kevin how he won the contest, he said he was the guy they hung up on on the 11/20/04 show because he answered the question too late, and didn't get the "joke" question right.
They spent time making fun of the guy who does all the intros and outros for the show. JS Clayden had the idea of having this guy do answering machine messages with Dave, to which Dave thought of having a contest of some sort to win the chance of having that done.
Dave shared a story from Amsterdam where he was playing on the monitor, and he fell off into the crowd and knocked a girl out with the head of his guitar. He said he payed for all her hospital bills.
