Live: Camp Freddy-NotForNothing.net

[11/19/05]

[In Studio]: Dave, Billy
[Guest(s)]: Jon Albert, Johnny Navarro, Matt & his mother, Messy Stench
[Phone-Ins]: Patrik Mata (KFK), Angelyne

[Absentees]: Donovan was out for an unknown reason.

Early on in the show, there was a caller who wanted to argue the Sports Chalet slogan of "We'll take you to the limit." In his argument, he made a point with Frosted Flakes and "They're great!".

When their first guests, Jon and Johnny, came in, they focused on the upcoming book, which actually features Dave and his cousin Johnny, called "Wrecking Crew." The main part that involved them was one Saturday with prostitutes. Billy read a passage from the book where Johnny was with a girl, and straight sex wouldn't get her off, but she needed foreplay, to which Johnny said he had been in drama school for three years.

Matt and his mother briefly stopped by the studio. Dave and Billy were looking for stories of what he wanted when he was younger. His mother shared a story of when he was younger and they left him alone for the weekend, he and his friends would move everything out of the house, put mattresses up against the walls, and just jam on their drum sets. She also mentioned she found out he did this when they didn't go one weekend, and he was at the window waving "no" to everyone pulling up.

When Messy joined the guys, she brought them a couple gifts including a midget blow up doll, which Billy blew up and they all played with during a song. After Billy enjoyed a cigarette, they hung the doll on the wall. Messy pulled it down and played around with it more just before they left.

Camp Teddy did the Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want."

[Girls From The Weekly]:

none, because they felt they covered it when recounting experiences with working girls from "Wrecking Crew."

[Questions]:

For an autographed copy of the book "Wrecking Crew:"
movie line: "Johnny Fontane does not get that picture! I'll tell you why, that movies going to make him a big star, and I'm gonna run him out of the business, now you get the hell out of here!" [asked by Johnny/Dave, answer: The Godfather]

For tickets to spend a night with Bauhaus:
"What was the name of Bauhaus' first single?" [asked by Billy, answer: Bela Lugosi's Dead]

"Name two covers Bauhaus did." [asked by Dave, answer: (no answer given)]

[Quotes]:

"You break my heart every week. There's Siouxie, there's the girl from Lush, I mean, just let a guy down gently." [Billy, after Dave mentioned he made out with the female singer of Lush]

"Hi, Mrs. Sorum. You weren't by any chance just listening to the program before you arrived, were you?" [Dave]
"No. Well, a little bit." [Mrs. Sorum]
"Ok, thank god." [Dave]
"We heard some of the sex stuff and the books on tape bit." [Matt]
"Well you are Matt's mom so I'm sure that none of that is shocking." [Dave]
"Yeah, that's right. He's raised me well." [Mrs. Sorum, everybody laughs]

"Yeah, but I was saying I love playing with your son." [Dave]
"I understand, I know what you're saying. I get it." [Mrs. Sorum]

"Whatever age you are when you get your first instrument, that's the age you stop maturing somehow. I got my guitar when I was like 7 years old, so I'm basically still emotionally 7 years old. It's unbelievable. The same likes and interests. I'm still excited about video games, I mean it's unbelievable." [Dave]
