[Absentees]: Dave was recovering from a cold and sore throat, and Billy was given the day off from Matt and Dono.
Starting off, the guys started talking about Thursdays show. Matt was saying that he thought it should've been moved to the Staples Center since it sold out so quickly.
They shared some details of the Camp Freddy meeting, and said the band felt Dono needed to come back later in the set as well. They also said they gave Billy and Dave the day off since they're always there. Merchandise was also discussed, and Matt had the idea for sweatpants with "Freddy" on the butt.
Matt went back to the show and spoke about Camp Teddy opening. This was segwayed into how drummers throw sticks to the crowd, to which Matt said he once hit Kirk Hammet (Metallica) in the head with how he threw his sticks out. The incident of someone getting hit in the eye by Aerosmith's drummer was brought up as well.
Camp Teddy called in, but Matt didn't let them play since they played Thursday at the Katrina benefit. Matt also mentioned that the guy who outbit their dad for the Vegas trip with Matt that was auctioned off on the Katrina radiothon.
Toward the end of the show, the guys were talking to Dono's friends about restaurants. Matt suggested Loconda Vinetta, and moved into the El Carmen that has the largest selection of tequillas. He mentioned that of the approximate 250 types, he made it through 36, starting at the top of the menu. He went on to share many other drinking experiences, like when he drank absinth and was outside feeling like Van Gough.
Before leaving, they went back to the subject of Vegas, in particular, the Hard Rock Hotel. Matt mentioned he has a Harley Davidson on display there, and one time he decided to get on it and security told him to get off, and after proving it was his, they said he needed to get off it in 5 minutes.
[15 Minutes of Sex & Love Advice]:
First, Cindy, wanted to know how long she should make her new boyfriend wait to sleep with her. The guys made a couple jokes, but Donovan was suggesting the memories of not having sex could do more for a guy than that. He also mentioned that women are in complete control.
Next, a male caller, had his girlfriend move from New York, and now he's a little insecure due to difference of professions. They recommended that he doesn't sweat it and let it ride out.
