[15 Minutes of Sex & Love Advice]:
The first caller was stood up for a date tonight, to which Dave attributed being caused by her telling him she hasn't had a date in a while.
The next caller had somewhat of a similar situation, where she was engaged to someone and her "dirty laundry" got out. In both cases, Steve said that the guy was doing each of them a favor by leaving upfront instead of dragging things on for weeks, months, or years, just to come to the same result: heartbreak.
[Quotes]:
"Because it's not all about models to me, to me I'm about substance." [Dave]
"Well, with that kind've attitude honey, you're not going to win anything. That is not the kind've attitude we endorse here." [Dave, to the caller who was holding for Decemberists' tickets]
"Let him discover the dirty laundry, let it unfold like a flower." [Steve, from the 1st call of S&L Advice]
"Recently, and it's interesting you bring this up, recently Steve Isaacs, my wife has mentioned that she would consider that being OK for me." [Dave]
"The happy-ending rub and tub. Really?" [Steve]
"Yeah, provided, what did she say? Provided it was um... it was an Asian. I'm not lying. So she said, if it's an Asian girl, it's totally fine. I don't know what the difference is. But I was like OK." [Dave, everybody laughs]
"In most relationships apparently you're not married to Carmen Electra, which is the first problem..." [Steve]
"Not to copy and paste from the last call, but I think he did you a favor. I think that he stopped you from going through months, weeks, years of heart break and inevitably he did you a favor." [Steve]
"Well, ya know, it's not a bad idea to check your women out before you commit." [Mädchen]
"No, true, luckily I was able to look mine up on the internet." [Dave]
"Google your perspective mates people, Google, Google them!" [Steve]
"I rented a little person for one of the really big season finale shows, which, ya know, I thought was kind've OK. Anything worth doing is worth overdoing, I figure." [Steve]
