Live: Camp Freddy-NotForNothing.net

[02/26/05]

[In Studio]: Billy, Billy Duffy
[Phone-Ins]: Dave, JS Clayden (on Billy's cell phone)

[Absentees]: Dave (w/Steve Isaacs) was playing home poker at Shannon Elizabeth's house, Matt was on tour with Velvet Revolver, and Donovan had "baby duties," as Billy put it and Billy was unable to disclose what Chris was doing.

The duo played an acoustic version of AC/DC's "Hells Bells," as well as The Cult's "Rain."

Billy came up with a three-week competition for a grand prize of a Gibson guitar. To win, someone would have to listen in each week for the question, and on the third week, call in and answer all three questions correctly. The first question is below.

They brought up the Oscars, and Billy wanted people to call in to debate as to whether or not Johnny Depp deserved an Oscar for Pirates of the Carribean. His wife, Jen, would chime in occasionally, and he would tell her to "go in that room and behave yourself."

Billy tried to blackmail Donovan into calling by saying he's got pictures of Donovan from New York, with very questionable clothes on, and said he'd start to describe them on air if he didn't call in.

Two 15 year old fans called in and played T-Rex's "20th Century Boy," as inspired by Camp Freddy.

[Girls From The Weekly]:

Billy Duffy didn't want to do this segment, but did want to hear the little jingle, and he also said he felt it was a "Dave thing."

[Questions]:

For a signed CF Key Club poster & t-shirt:
"How many members were there of the band Gang of Four?" [asked by Billy Duffy, answer: 4] (to a caller to make her night)

"I'm going to give you a movie line ... 'This one goes to eleven.'" "I'll give you another line: 'Who lives in here? No one.'" [asked by Billy, answer: Spinal Tap] (to a caller who didn't know, so Billy shouted the answer out before commercials)

"What band was Dave Kushner in before Velvet Revolver?" [asked by Billy, answer: Wasted Youth, Loaded]

"If I said 'get down those apples and pears,' what would I be talking about?" [asked by Billy, answer: unanswered]

Question #1 for the Gibson guitar:
A Cockney rhyming slang: "Whose that ice cream, nice releans on that work, cat on his wrists." [asked by Billy]

[Quotes]:

"He's up playing cards, yeah, poker, with Shannon Elizabeth." [Billy, about Dave]
"He's playing what? OK, could you spell that please?" [Billy Duffy]
"Poker. P-O-K-E-H-E-R." [Billy]
"Thought so, OK." [Billy Duffy]

"That's not very scientific radio there, my friend." [Billy Duffy, to Zach about getting a callers name wrong]

"You're going to keep me on hold playing that thing over and over again? My god." [Dave, after a track with the same rif for 3 and a half minutes]

"I'm here with Steve Isaacs of The Panic Channel, and ya know, we're gonna team up on her, so to speak." [Dave]
"Dave, you and Steve are going to double team Shannon? I love that! Is that her screaming in the background?" [Billy]
"How could you say no to something like that?" [Dave]

"All right, well, Dave if it all gets a little hot and heated and that double team action starts to go on, do you wanna just like, call in and let us live vicariously?" [Billy]
"Do you think it would be rude, Billy, and I'm going to walk into a corner of the house so they can't hear me, do you think it would be in bad form to go into Shannon's bathroom and masterbate?" [Dave]
"Absolutely not." [Billy]
"I think it'd be ok, right?" [Dave]
"I think it'd be absolutely fine and I think she would feel hurt and rejected if you didn't do that kind've thing." [Billy]
"I think she's expecting that of me." [Dave]
"Yeah, I mean, ya know, you invite Navarro around your house, that's what you expect." [Billy, laughs]
"Ok, good, I'll call you back in 8 minutes." [Dave]
"Yeah, nice!" [Billy]

"Is David getting excited as a couple, or her and her husband, or, ya know?" [Billy Duffy]
"I really don't know what makes that boy excited. Anything actually makes that boy excited." [Billy]
"Jerry Cantrell mostly, this year, no it was last year. He's moved up a little bit." [Billy Duffy, laughs]

"How long to go Zack?" [Billy]
"Um, 10, 15 minutes." [Zack]
"Really? That long?" [Billy]
