Donovan was out because it was his birthday. Dave was out for an unknown reason.
Todd Newman was invited up when Billy ran into him outside just before the show. They brought up what he did that Dave posted on his site that day, which was a 17 minute video montage of Camp Freddy's residency at the Roxy in May. He was only on during the first hour.
Billy kept coming back to the subject of going to the mall. First it was the fact that he saw Donovan's wife on a advertisement at the perfume counter in the mall, then he kept talking about how, with his parents visiting, they keep needing to go out for things like soap.
