This show started a bit roughly, the phone lines were down, the enco was down, and Matt was late because he didn't have his pass to get into the station.
They talked about the acoustic show in Vegas last week, which they said they will never do again. They followed Gavin Rosdale, who apparently told the audience to shut up during his set, so when Camp Freddy took the stage, Donovan told them they could drink and talk all they wanted.
When Royston came on, they talked a bit about his band Spacehog, and the fact that Spacehog and Camp Freddy are both playing a show on the same day (August 1st), so they were trying to arrange transport for Royston to be at the CF show.
Motorcycles were a subject touched on a number of times throughout the show. First, the fact that Matt came in on his motorcycle, Billy brought up that his wife Jen doesn't like when he rides because of a bad experience she had with him as he was popping a wheelie. Later in the show, Billy joked about Matt having a walkie talkie with Ace so they could talk as they ride. Matt also jokingly said he would start motorcycle tours.
