[In Studio]: Dave, Billy
[Guest(s)]: Gilby Clarke

[Absentees]: Matt was on tour with Velvet Revolver, and Donovan was out for an unknown reason.

The state of the music industry was a huge topic for the show. Dave brought up Satellite Party, and how he hasn't heard anything about it "on the street." He brought up the point that maybe he feels there isn't much of a scene, eventhough there is for the younger crowds. They continued the conversation when Gilby arrived.

While Gilby was in the studio, he said he didn't want to answer any questions about Guns N Roses. He did get a few calls regarding his solo work and Rockstar: Supernova though.

While discussing the idea of getting Gilby, Billy, and Dave playing together, Dave went on to share that Steve Isaacs is moving to New York for a girl who waits tables, and Dave said she should move out to LA. But Dave did seriously add that he'd like Steve to come home so they could play music.

Billy wanted to end the show with Alice In Chains' "Rooster." Dave mentioned he spoke to the rooster, and said "Mr. Rooster, it's quite an honor to meet you." He also told Billy and Gilby that the Rooster was a nickname for Jerry Cantrell's dad.

[Quotes]:

"I would happily join you guys on that bill, but my singer decided to move to New York because he fell in love with an Opera singer." [Dave]
"You gotta chase love, you gotta chase love." [Billy]
"You do? I mean come on, the guys in a rock band, right." [Dave]
"But he fell in love, Dave." [Billy]
"She's waiting tables at Marquee club. You move out here honey." [Dave]

"Here's how my life works out. I'm in the Chili Peppers, we're on tour. 'Oh great, we're going to do some English festivals, you know like all the European festivals, great,' whole summer that Rage Against the Machine opening for us. ... It was a bummer, let me tell you that dude, they were so great and then we had to go on after that and play like..." [Dave]
"I'm sure you guys held your own." [Gilby]
"Play our gay little songs. 'Here's something else that we wrote, it's called My Friends.'" [Dave, everybody laughs]
"After all of their heads are exploded." [Gilby]
"'If you feel like getting a beer, now's a good time.'" [Dave]
