Dave called from Baltimore, MD before that nights show at Sonar. He talked briefly about how The Panic Channel is doing, but Billy and Matt asked him more about Supernova than anything. Dave also brought up the AVN Awards.
After answering a couple of Velvet Revolver related phone calls, Matt shared that they are planning a small club tour in May with the release of the first single. He also mentioned they have tour plans through October, including a few stops in South America.
Later in the show, Billy called Abby Gennett who was filling them in on this years NAMM event.
Billy was entertaining the idea of having a 5 year anniversary show for Camp Freddy at the Standard Hotel, where they had their first show on May 24, 2002.
The subject of Camp Freddy needing new songs in their sets came up again, and Matt shared how he used to be in a Top 40 band, where they would learn 25 songs a week, and made suggestions on how they could rehearse new songs to incorporate in their sets.
